Acute care Surgery
Acute abdominal surgical conditions include acute appendicitis, acute cholecystitis, small bowel obstruction, large bowel obstruction, bowel ischemia, incarcerated hernias, bowel perforations with peritonitis and acute abdominal infections.
Dr. Raghavan has been faculty in various hospital systems over his 20-year career and has taken care of patients with the above conditions on a regular basis in an inpatient setting. He manages most of these above conditions via minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery leading to an enhanced recovery with decreased postoperative pain and complications.
